Train with Hwansik Kim, a world-class instructor offering online coaching at PSTG.us and in-person courses for private or group instruction. With experience training practical shooters, law enforcement, and military professionals across the U.S. and internationally, Hwansik brings elite-level expertise to every session.
His inductive and deductive teaching method puts you at the center of learning—guiding you to experiment, adapt, and refine your technique through hands-on feedback, rather than rigid. In each intensive two-day course, you’ll fire approximately 1,800 rounds, developing precision, speed, and efficiency through practical experience.
Hwansik currently offers two courses:
Vision Focus
In the Vision Focus class, you will develop high-level shooting skills through experience. Hwansik details his innovative concept, Vision Focus. You’ll learn the most important components of shooting fundamentals and how to push through fatigue in a straightforward approach which will equip you to continue growing and learning long after you finish the course. Train your vision focus, trigger control, confirmation levels, and efficiency throughout your shooting skills.
Mastery Class
Hwansik’s Shooting Mastery Class pushes you beyond fundamentals, training you to perform under pressure and in challenging conditions. This course demands adaptability, requiring you to adjust to varying levels of shooting accountability and strategic decision-making in real time. More than just refining your shooting mechanics, you’ll develop faster processing speeds, sharper decision-making, and the ability to execute under stress.
*We typically recommend shooters begin with the Vision Focus Class before the Mastery Class. Even if you are an experienced shooter, the Master Class builds on content in the Vision Focus course, offering learning experiences for everyone!
